Tim Bessell was exposed to the world of art at an early age, creating a love and interest that would shape his future. Bessell is a fine artist, sculptor and surfboard shaper. His work has become prominent in the global art community, seen in many exhibitions across the world. His early influences were Andy Warhol and Jackson Pollock. Bessell licensed their work, allowing him to merge his expertly crafted surfboards with their art, creating globally recognized work. Tim studied Art and Architecture at the prestigious San Diego State University, and opened his own studio where he resides today. Bessell’s studio is a testament to his creativity, when he is not sculpting a surfboard, he is painting in his own style.
